How much does it cost to book AWDJ?
Costs typically range from £500 to £1,500 for the DJ, depending on location and run time. Adding a live performer (saxophonist, bagpiper or singer) alongside the DJ is billed separately, from £300 to £600 depending on run time and location.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as your date is set. Popular dates get booked 2 to 3 years ahead.
What deposit is needed to secure our date?
A 30% deposit secures your date, with written confirmation and an event itinerary sent once it's paid.
Are you insured?
Yes, full public liability insurance, and all equipment is PAT tested and regularly maintained.
What if our performer becomes unavailable?
A trusted network of musicians and DJs across Ayrshire provides a replacement of the same standard, and couples are always told in advance.
Can we choose our run time?
Yes, evening only, all day, or a custom runtime tailored to your day.
Do you take requests?
Absolutely, song requests are welcome throughout the night and we'll always work them into the set where we can. If there's a specific song you need for a key moment, like a first dance or a surprise for a guest, just flag it in advance so we're ready for it.
Do you do karaoke?
Yes, we're happy to let guests sing along to their favourite tracks during the night, request a song and we'll bring you up for a moment in the spotlight. It's a fun way to get the room even louder without turning the whole night into a full karaoke show. Let us know in advance if you'd like this built into your evening.
